GeePee’s Adoption Day Update!

Hi rescue friends its me GeePee, its been awhile since you heard from me but its been a little busy around here so you will have to forgive me. This past weekend (Sept 15&16) BSAR along with other rescue groups were at PetSmart taking part in a big adoption weekend and boy was it busy, there were lots of people out admiring all my cute little critter friends, filling out adoption applications, and simply finding out more about BSAR and what it is we do. It was a busy couple days and all the volunteers did awesome, without them the rescuse wouldnt be able to help critters like me   Since the adoption weekend it seems as though interest in my furry friends has picked up and several of them have been adopted, gone to trial homes or are just waiting for a ride to their new homes, but even though my friends are finding homes the number of critters looking for homes doesn’t really seem to be dropping and this is because their are still lots of new critters being surrendered  In the last couple days alone there has been 3 more bunnies come into the care of the rescue. The volunteers are planning another visit to PetSmart again this weekend in the hopes that some more of my furry friends will find their forever homes  Well I guess I should get back to work, theres lots to do around here but remember if you are out and about this weekend stop by PetSmart on Stavanger Drive and visit some of my friends or if you or someone you know is thinking about adding a member to your family consider adopting, there are lots of great pets in need of a loving home.
